CGSAV and ACC Mixed Netball

On Friday 24 October, 10 students from Year 8 offered to give up their student free day to participate in the CGSAV and ACC Mixed Netball Championships with St Bede’s at the State Netball Centre in Parkville. Kilbreda and St Bede’s students were split up across two teams in Division 1 and 2. Both teams were very competitive and showed great teamwork throughout the competition.

Results were as follows:

Division 1 – 3rd place

Division 2 – 4th place

This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to come together with St Bede’s to form new social connections over their shared passion for sport.

Congratulations to the below Kilbreda students who participated in the competition.

The sessions will run from 7.00am – 7.45am in the Mentone Girls’ Grammar School pool, then the students will walk back to Kilbreda.

Go Girls 100km Challenge

We are so proud of our Kilbreda Pink and Kilbreda Purple teams for their determination, teamwork and kindness in making a difference in the lives of many women in our local community. Together, our two teams ran an amazing 110km and have already raised $3,649 (at time of writing) to support the Foundation’s work. Donations remain open until 5 November – every contribution helps, and we are very grateful for all of the ongoing support.
